A glimpse into the poetic world of Aurélien.

StickerApp: Who or what's your biggest inspiration?

Aurélien: I often like to add a bit of cuteness to something cheeky, or a touch of cheekiness to something cute. So, I'd say my main inspiration comes from wanting to create a second layer of meaning in my work, an amusing twist, to play with taboos. I aim to show, in a gentle way, that sexuality can be very tender.

StickerApp: How did it all start?

Aurélien: It was the result of years of hesitation and inner exploration, but one day I thought, "Alright, let’s do this. I’ll dedicate part of my evenings to my art after work. I’ll put it out there and see where it leads!" At first, I drew whatever came to mind, but over time, I gravitated toward erotica because it's such a rich subject and an endless source of inspiration that really touches the core of who we are.

StickerApp: Any advice for those just starting out?

Aurélien: Show what you create, listen to yourself, don’t overthink it, just go with the flow. We all have something within us that deserves to be shared with the world. And if the drawing you post today doesn't find its audience, that’s okay—you’ll have another one to share tomorrow.

StickerApp: What's your favorite sticker material?

Aurélien: Without a doubt, matte vinyl—it’s perfect for my peaches. It’s so soft to the touch, it almost feels like my fingers are caressing skin.

StickerApp: What's your favorite app or program?

Aurélien: Procreate on iPad completely transformed the way I draw and saved me a ton of space! It was a game changer that really boosted my creativity!
